Not seen at Ticino!

We spend considerable time to keep our restaurant up to expectations. This includes eating in other restaurants, which we do usually over lunch.

A particularly successful outing took place earlier in the week to a restaurant at Mabprachan Lake. The picture on the left shows Head Chef Dennis’ excitement written all over his face about a delicacy proudly presented as “Mexican Chiliburger” in their menu. The chef’s upgrade endeavours of the incinerated appearance of said burger with American “French” mustard and the all-present ketchup - see centre picture - was taking the matter to even higher spheres.

The lady owner, sitting behind the cashier and watching the 719th sequel of the Thai soap opera “Why are the Rich so bad and the Poor so good” could by all means not be distracted by her two little monster kiddies screeming and fighting over the latest Chinese import, a plastic three-wheeler. This obviously added to the lunching pleasure.

The right picture shows what we expected to happen if we would do anything else then just shut up, pay and disappear. Hence we opted to shut up, pay and to disappear. Little learning curve for us though, apart from gruesome meals at gruesome pricing served by gruesome……….  at a perfect location - what a pitty!

Peter, the people responsible for the Ticino website moved the standards of your restaurant one level higher! Informative, marketing, creativity; you mention dishes, drinks and even the climate! You have take care of everything one needs to know!
The menu, the dishes, the wines have all obtained deserved attention. No diner will regret coming all the way to Nong Prue, if not already living in close proximity!
Peter, Noi keep up the good work - Thank you!
